St Nic's Mission Partners
David & Nikki
Dave and Nikki and their boys, James and Ben, live in North Africa; they have been supported by St Nic’s since 1992, initially in West Africa, and until 2008 in France. In a region which has only a tiny number of Christians, they want to live as witnesses to the Gospel. Central to this, they are learning new languages and looking to build relationships in the small villages around the main town. Dave’s linguistic research and Bible translation experience continue to be valuable; even in these early stages, he has been able to work on materials for outreach and for language acquisition. They are looking for openings to be involved in social projects, both amongst poor families in the major town and communities in the rural areas.
Nigel and Susan Hyde (Mission Direct)
St Nic’s sent
Nigel and Susan Hyde with their four girls into missions in 1996. They
founded Mission Direct, sending short term unskilled volunteer teams to
share faith and join partners in building clinics, schools, and so on
amongst the world’s poorest. For more information, visit the Mission Direct web site.
