Mission at St Nic's

The gospel calls us to help meet the needs of individuals and organisations in Nottingham and across the world. For some this is in direct evangelistic work or social action to assist those in need in our society. Others work to support the wider church and help us to think through contemporary issues.

Most of the people we support have been, or still are, members of St Nic’s, and this helps us to retain strong links and keep up to date with their work.

Nottingham has an increasing number of homeless people, refugees, and asylum-seekers and part of our work is to try to meet their needs. Some people in the congregation have links with relevant agencies.

We also have an active schools-work programme. We are currently involved in taking lessons and assemblies in three local schools.
