3) Challenging people and structures with the Gospel
- Creating a Christ-like, warm & welcoming community
- Helping people to know the gospel
- Helping people feel confident to witness with integrity
- Recognising and nurturing evangelists / prophets
- Encouraging friendship evangelism
- Creating the means to help people meet Christ
4) Suffering with those on the edge
- Understanding our local community (City Centre / neighbourhood)
- Developing appropriate service
- Developing an appropriate and accredited pastoral / counselling ministry
- Developing ways of identifying with/befriending those on the edge
- Developing appropriate ways of using the Church plant
- Developing ways of challenging the structures that cause the edge
- Seeking appropriate ways of working alongside churches serving in the inner city
- Developing ways of supporting those working on the edge
All the above, and more, is being developed by five Ministry Teams whose job it is to help us transform this vision into practical ministry and mission.
