Hope 2008

Hope 2008 is an initiative of the churches of Britain and Ireland which will demonstrate Christian faith in action and explain the meaning of that faith in villages, towns and cities throughout the UK. Here at St Nic’s we will be involved in a number of events and activities and you would be very welcome to join in with as we explore what it means to be a Christian.
Easter Celebrations
Easter is a fantastic time of year as we remember and celebrate together the death and resurrection of Jesus. Have a look at our services page for details of Easter services – you would be very welcome to come along, even if you are not sure about it all and just want to find out more!
Unite Children’s Event.
As part of the Hope 2008 initiative a big event has been arranged for all children and their friends from churches across Nottingham. The aim is to unite children with God, unite them with other Christian children and to unite the churches. This should be a great event – make sure you book it in your diaries now. It will be for all children in school years one to six and will run 5.30–7pm on Saturday 14 June. Fliers will be out after Easter. For further information see Clare.
Hope 08 Youth Events
There are youth events planned for 28 June and 8 November for Nottingham Youth, 7.30pm–10pm at the Boys High School. There will be a £1 entrance fee.
