St Nic's: Living on the edge with Jesus

St Nic’s Socials

St Nic’s socials are for people of all ages and backgrounds within the church. It is a good place to get to know new people in the church, and to invite along friends from outside the church too.

We organise a programme of social events and activities. Everyone is welcome, regardless of age, to come along and meet up with others at these planned events. It doesn’t matter if you’re a school leaver, if you are single or married, a single parent, or retired! The aim of the group is to make sure that everyone feels they are a valued part of the church with something to offer others.

The events are a good opportunity to invite non-Christian friends to meet with Christians in an informal friendly atmosphere. Recent highlights include the Rutland Water bike ride, Fireworks and music at the Belton House Prom, and camping at Edale in the Peaks.

For more information, send an email to the team at social_org@stnics.org.

For most of the events, there will be a list in church under the tower for you to sign up in advance.

You can sign up to receive first hand news of events as they are organised by sending an email to socials@stnics.org with the word ‘subscribe’ in the subject line.
