St Nic's: Living on the edge with Jesus

How to Give

We try to make it as easy as possible to give to St Nic’s! If you plan to give regularly the simplest way is Bank Standing Order. Most people who give use this method, which is why when we pass round the collection bag in services many don’t appear to put anything in!

If you pay tax

The Inland Revenue has made it very easy for you to give and for St Nic’s to claim back the tax. All you need do is to sign a simple form that gives us permission to claim the tax on all gifts you make. You can then give by one of the following methods:

An alternative method is to use an independent charitable trust such as Charities Aid Foundation or Stewardship Services. Details of these are to be found at the back of church.

If you don’t pay tax

There is no tax to recover, but please give regularly using any of the methods above.

Now what should I do?

Prayerfully consider what it means to be a member of St Nic’s and to support the work here.

At the back of church you will find Bank Standing Orders and Gift Aid Forms. If you are a tax-payer, please complete one of these Gift Aid forms as any gifts you make, regular or one-off, large or small will benefit the church by an extra 28p for every £1.00 donated.

If you would like any more details please contact the church office.

If you are contacting your bank to set up or amend a Standing Order, our bank details are: St Nicholas’ PCC, Giro Bank 72-00-01, Account 97786707.
